The Choir - Boys don't sing - BBC Two

The Lancaster School choir, boys between 11 and 15 years old, performing Gareth Malone's composition of Ben E, King's "Stand by me" and Sean Kingston's "Beautiful girls" in Roytal Albert Hall, which Mr. Malone started as part of the tv project; featuring the Beatbox AKA Playground MCs featuring Imran and the other amazingly talentful soloists Wahchi and Tojan. Nine months earlier the school did not have a choir. The tv series is inspiring for other choirmasters: how to find the right voices for solos and the right pieces of music for beginning choirs---and being persistent, consistent and patient.
